Why? I have a lot of domains, but all of them has its own theme and sometimes I want to write about something, but I don’t feel it can fit any of my blogs.
That’s how I ended up here. I use Hugo for a long time now. I tried to make my own instance of WriteFreely, but I don’t want to fire up a MySQL server just for this. I’m very sad writefreely does not support PostgreSQL :( For a while I though maybe one day MySQL will not be The Database engine for everyone and we can use a real database engine, but it seems not yet. So next I though, why not hosted one, but they did not give me the freedom I really want.
At the end, I moved back to Hugo. I would be happy to host a more robust service, and maybe give opportunity others to start blogging there, but found nothing I would really love.
